The Alessi Scachatta story began with Nicolo Alessi, who brought his family's Sicilian baking traditions with him from Italy. After opening his Tampa bakery in 1912, those Old World influences became part of a uniquely Tampa tradition that generations of families have come to know and love.

Alessi Scachatta is a thick, soft Sicilian-style pizza topped with a rich, savory sauce, a blend of cheeses and Alessi's signature seasonings. Baked in large trays and cut into individual squares, it's delicious served at room temperature and perfect for sharing.
